Softonic review

Flexible and simple video file converter

Clone2Go Video Converter is a great looking video converter that can handle most video formats and convert them for playback on your mobile, PSP or other mobile device.

Clone2Go Video Converter has a clear interface with big, obvious buttons for 'Add Video' and 'Encode' and so on, there is an inbuilt window for viewing video, and a frame including all the encoding (converting) settings.

Videos for conversion can be added using the Add button, or just by dragging and dropping the file into the Clone2Go window. If you want to download and convert a YouTube or Google video, simply drag the URL from Firefox, or copy/paste from other browsers, and click encode.

The encoding options are pretty extensive, allowing you to choose the size, video codec, the video and audio bitrate and more. You can even encode just a part of the video if you wish. Clone2Go's interface is one of the most user friendly we've seen.

The only bad thing about it is that the included video player is a little unreliable - initially it seemed video conversions had their audio and video out of sync, but that isn't the case, just Clone2Go's player.

Clone2Go Video Converter is an ideal video converter for all but the most advanced users, with its extensive conversion options and intuitive interface.
